Egypt is Different and Save

This tour was a highlight among many years and many countries travelled. Our guide, Taher, brought the tour to another level with his historical knowledge, guiding expertise and fantastic personality! Right from the beginning, Taher worked
..skillfully to bond our group of 7 people together, as he was acutely aware that the social dynamics of a group can make such a difference in the experience of the travellers. I
On more occasions than I can count, Taher far exceeded his responsibilities as a tour guide to help us, educate us and even entertain us, long after the tour day was over. Taher gave us many wonderful opportunities to experience the authentic culture of the Egyptian people, in a way that my husband and I simply could not have done on our own.
The ancient historical sites are incredibly awe-inspiring. Don't miss out on Abu-Simbel, which is an add-on and make sure to pay the extra fee to access the tombs at Valley of the Kings - these were the best highlights of the trip! We also paid extra to access the mummy rooms at the museum in Cairo, which was definitely worth the money.
Dress for Women: in Cairo, cover your shoulders and legs to avoid unwanted attention (long dresses or pants). Outside of Cairo, it is fine to wear capris or medium - long shorts. I would avoid sleeveless tops or tight clothing.
Finally and most importantly, Egypt is SAFE. Media paints a very different picture of the safety and stability of the country and the people themselves. Many people gave us concerned looks and comments when we booked a trip to Egypt and we weren't entirely sure what to expect either. At no point did we ever feel unsafe, even when we left the tour and were on our own. Unfortunately, Egypt's economy has suffered greatly, due to this misinformation.
Overall, I would recommend Egypt, and Tours 4fun to anyone!
