I now know why Disneyland is called "The Happiest Place on Earth"! I really had such a fabulous time on this tour- I am going to tell all my friends to book with tours4fun when I get back to Japan. Our guide was very knowledgeable and frien..dly; he made the trip really one I will always remember. I loved visiting Mickey's Toontown, Splash Mountain and the spinning teacups on the Mad Tea Party Ride! The Disneyland Railroad was also a great way to get from one part of the park to another. I even took my picture with Mickey and Minnie Mouse! Disneyland is not only a place for children although I'm sure they would have a fabulous time as well. I am a 22-year old Japanese woman who had always wanted to see this magical kingdom and I have finally made it! Our tour guide even went on a few rides with me so that I didn't have to go alone. It was a great day that I will always remember.Read full review
My wife and I are from England and joined this tour 2 months ago. We had such a wonderful experience on tour and with your tour company. The guide was punctual and very knowledgeable as well as lots of fun. My wife wishes that there had bee..n more time for her to go souvenir shopping, but overall we had a fabulous excursion and will be back again to do more next year. I enjoyed Grand Teton National Park as well as the world famous Yellowstone National Park. Old Faithful and Mammoth Hot Springs exceeded my expectations and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone Park was very interesting and different from its namesake in Arizona. But, I am very pleased that I had a chance to visit this canyon. The colours of the canyon were very vibrant and made a wonderful backdrop for our many photographs that we took on tour. Salt Lake City was not my cup of tea, but my wife enjoyed the atmosphere of the city and the locals were very friendly.Read full review
This six-day tour was definitely a lot of fun! Our guide was waiting for us at the Tropicana Hotel and was very punctual every day. Las Vegas was a fantastic city, but I was also looking forward to seeing the Grand Canyon and San Francisco... I really loved peering over the rim and seeing the amazing Grand Canyon. I would recommend walking on the "Skywalk" if you dare, I took some great pics here and it's an experience you will never forget! Hoover Dam was also very impressive. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Ethel M's Chocolate Factory and the Botanical Cactus Gardens. I have to say that my kids couldn't stop talking about Hearst Castle; they had never seen a castle before, let alone in the United States. Our guide mentioned that it's the only castle to be found on U.S. soil! San Francisco was very fascinating, we loved the Golden Gate Bridge and Treasure Island was fabulous. Yosemite National Park was also very interesting. I would recommend this tour to anyone!Read full review

We are a retired New Zealand couple who joined 51 mandarin speaking fellow travellers plus a few other "pakeha" people like us on the 4 September 2009 tour. We found them very friendly and great travelling companions and our competent tour ..guide, Harry, gave us an excellent commentary in mandarin and english. I nice modern bus also. We enjoyed everything and the tour was very comprehensive...Crazy horse and Mt Rushmore and the Montana museum were most interesting. Yellowstone is one of the greatest places we have ever visited with diverse, beautiful and awesome scenery. Even though NZ has outstanding scenery and similar thermal areas, Yellowstone was as good. Arches national park was wonderful and a highlight and very different to NZ. The accommodaiton was surprisingly good, except in Deadwood, which was about 1 star I reckon...but an interesting old casino nevertheless. This tour is incredibly good value, and Harry, our guide keeps the costs low by stopping for dinner at a choice of cheap retaurants. We thoroughly recommend this tour even if you are Caucasian English speaking wrinklies like us!Read full review

Oh my gosh, words can't describe the way I felt after having flown over the deepest and widest part of the Grand Canyon! This airplane tour was better than I could have ever imagined- 45 minutes just flies by when you are admiring the view ..of the Navajo Indian Reservation and the mighty Colorado River. I loved seeing the Kaibab Plateau and Forest and I have to say that Dragon Head was my absolute favourite part of the flight! I really think that this tour offers great value and a once-in-a-lifetime experience to fully appreciate the Grand Canyon and all the beauty it has to offer. My sister is scared of heights but I was able to convince her to take the ride of her life with me and she thanked me afterwards!Read full review

I had no idea what to get my sister for her birthday, so I bought her a tour! This was a last minute decision, so thank goodness for the customer service at Tours4fun. They answered all of my questions and put to rest some of my concerns. .. We both really enjoyed visiting Niagara Falls.Read full review
This tour was a great bargain! What a good price for everything we saw and did, and I even splurged on some of the extra activities that you can partake in. Our guide told us that Solvang means "sunny field" in Danish, and this small villag..e was very fascinating. I enjoyed being in a town, which reminded me of Europe. Hearst Castle was a fantastic palace, we were able to take pictures but without the flash and they came out nicely. I simply loved the castle and its antique architecture; it reminded me of the many castles found in my home country, Scotland. I had always wanted to see the Golden Gate Bridge in person, and it is really an impressive feat. I went on the San Francisco Bay Cruise in order to get up close and personal with the bridge. It was spectacular! My wife wishes we had opted for the Fisherman's Wharf though because she really wanted to walk along the pier and try the delicious seafood- but she was glad she came on the cruise with me. We both thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Yosemite National Park and wished we could have stayed more time there- but alas, our trip was over. I will be back though and when I do I would like to do another tour with tours4fun.Read full review

100% great tour, great memories

Seeing these places up close is so much better than watching travel shows about them. Visiting San Francisco was a treat for me. I've been aching to see this city for years. The cruise was okay, but I didn't get to see much of Alcatraz beca..use of the fog. The mission at Santa Barbara was beautiful. I couldn't get enough of the ocean view during the drive! Las Vegas was spectacular. I had so much fun window shopping and gambling. I can't wait to go back. Thanks tours4fun for making this one my best trips ever!Read full review
It was amazing how much the scenery changed along Interstate 15, you start in Los Angeles where are the hustle and bustle of the big city is, and then you end up in the Mojave Desert- simply incredible. Las Vegas was amazing of course and U..tah was a very interesting state. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys finding out about the United States's diverse regions- its amazing to think that all these places are located in only one country! I also liked the Arches National Park, its stone masterpieces were incredibly beautiful and I think I was able to get some great photos for my scrapbook! I had read about the Crazy Horse Memorial but wasn't prepared for its actual beauty, and Mount Rushmore simply took my breath away! Yellowstone National Park was any nature lovers dream, from the hot springs to the geysers to nature all around you, this was a great experience and one that I will cherish for years to come.Read full review
My kids are still too young to enjoy camping, so we decided on a theme-park tour for its convenience. Theme parks have improved their services since I last visited. At Disneyland, parking the stroller at a ride entrance wasn't as bad as it ..used to be. Universal is more kid-friendly than it used to be. My girls loved Shrek 4-D and The Simpsons Ride. We did have one minor hiccup during our Sea World trip. We had a hard time convincing the girls to walk through the shark exhibit, but they were brave and ended up loving it. We were lucky. If your kid is afraid of dark spaces, I recommend skipping Shark Encounter. After spending the day the park, we went and had a nice family dinner in the Gaslamp Quarter. Overall, we had a fantastic time. This was one of our better vacations.Read full review

100% 7-Day Mt. Rushmore & Yellowstone
By: Anonymous | Wed Sep 09, 2009 at 07.20 PM
My fiancee and I had a very nice time on this tour. Our guide was punctual and was waiting for us when we arrived in Denver. I really enjoyed visiting the Coors Brewery and taste-testing the wares at the end! Since my wife is half-Native In..dian, she absolutely LOVED seeing Cheyenne and the Crazy Horse Memorial. She took so many pictures there and it was quite the site. Mount Rushmore was so much better in person than it is in books. The hotels we stayed at were pretty nice and the staff was always very friendly. I could have done without the visit to the West Coast Museum as museums are not my favorite places, but the other people on the tour seemed to have a good time there. Devil's Tower was a site that really moved my fiancee and I, it was quite interesting and it felt very spiritual being there. But our favorite part of the tour was Yellowstone National Park and seeing Old Faithful and Mammoth Hot Springs, what a relaxing afternoon! Salt Lake City was all right, but my fiancee wishes there had been more time to go shopping. Overall, the tour was very worthwhile.Read full review
I had a good time on this tour although it seemed like the drive was FOREVER from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, but I was very happy to see the shinning lights of the Vegas strip and knew that we had arrived at such a fascinating destination. I.. liked having time on my own to go shopping and to hit the casinos and I really liked the Masquerade Show in the Sky at the Rio Casino- it was very impressive. And what can I say about the Grand Canyon except it was GRAND!!!! I wasn't sure how impressed with it I would be since I am a world traveler but its beauty was incomprehensible until you have seen it with your own eyes- the Skywalk was kind of scary at first, but then I decided to venture out onto it and had a wonderful view all the way down to the Colorado River below my feet! That part is not for the faint of heart! I could have done with more time at the Fashion Outlet Shopping Center and less time at the Chocolate Factory, but the treat at the end was yummy. I will tell my friends about the fun time I had on this trip!Read full review
Seeing Hearst Castle from within is a wonderful experience of historic European architectural styles. Its admirable view of the open Pacific Ocean (with seals on the coast) made me wonder how a genius had made art and nature mix in a fasci..nating manner. To top that, the collection of antiques and other elements such as the cinema whose walls were lined with shelves of rare books is quite an amazing sight!Read full review
This was really great, in one day we saw all historics buildings. I really think it's the better way to discover Boston!!!
The view from bunker hill was so amazing!
I have to say that my family liked this tour very much. We appreciated the help of our tour guide. He was very friendly and made our hotel transfer very easy. The first day we went to the Adventure Park, my kids really liked the train ride... We spent the second whole day in Sea World. My wife and kids were very excited and we had a nice time there. The last day we visited Universal Studios. I loved the theme park because I'm a move buff. The only pity was that my wife said that she didn't have time to do some shopping, but for my kids and me the tour was quite good.Read full review
