Driver who met me in airport did not speak english. I paid for a 3-days tour but had no activity on the 3rd day. I psid supervacation instead for a 1 day tour to seattle for my 3rd day.
first let me tell you that all places mentioned in this itinerary was not visited it was a touch and go places, meaning u sit in the bus and the tour guide states oh this is Kamloops or revelstoke, Banff national park or jasper national pa..rk was not visited
secondly there were more Chinese people so the guide would say more in Chinese and then he would or translate in English in a very short sentences the switch from Chinese to English was quick so before one would grasp what was being told the sentences were all done :( the guide was Simon)
He was not very accommodative like for example he would stop at a rest area where there was no coffee being offered especially on the 5th day we travelled on the coach bus since early morning for hours and the multiple stops that was offered was a rest area for only washrooms, not a drinking water could be brought at this area when I told him that he said "its not in my list". I guess Chinese people are not much of a coffee drinker so he didn't care about the rest of the group.
Also on the 4th day he requested everyone to pay a tip of ~$32 /each person mandatory for him and the driver Vincent lee $8/ each person
A tip is offered not claimed also the driver is the one requires more coz he drives us all to our destination safely esp driving through the winding narrow roads up in the mountains, I believe the Chinese should pay more tip than the others as he spoke more in Chinese & was in favor mostly for them
the meal plan that is total rip off he asked us to pay ~300 meal plan for 4 lunches 2 Chinese & 2 American this is a business a total rip off as when asked he said there are not many restaurant's out there, but that is a total lie there are plenty of restaurants, he also added you have to be punctual which we were. ( so that we would buy his meal deal)
the last but the least the Ginseng factory was total bore coz it only benefits the Chinese who buys their products instead I would suggest that it would have benefitted a park in jasper especially on the 5 th day since there was not much offered other than sitting on the bus all day other than few rest stops and ginseng factoryRead full review
First day city tour used separate company and bus, which caused hassle with luggage. The tour's Chinese/English guiding leaned Chinese, and the pushy guide seemed to have a financial interest in the optional meal plan, which was rather Chin..ese-oriented. Overall the atmosphere was being herded as sheep by a dog too much in a hurry. The sights and the access were good though.Read full review
First of all, I thought I booked a tour with Tours4fun. Instead, supervacations greeted me at the airport. When I started emailing the company months before the tour, they were unorganized and did not communicate well with the “local offi..ce,” whatever that meant. For the life of me, they could not get my flight information correct! After several emails, I called the company to straighten out my flight information 2 times. I called and emailed several times to get an updated itinerary time of events and locations of hotel rooms. When My friend and I got to Vancouver, We looked for a sign saying “Tours4fun” to catch the shuttle to our hotel (for which I had to straighten out our flight information 2 times before and for which I had no clue of which hotel we would be staying at). We waited 15 minutes before calling the supposed tour guide, whom did not answer, we left a voicemail. We called 2 more numbers before actually getting to speak with someone. That someone had no clue what was going on, and she barely spoke English. We arrived at 8 in the morning and the company mentioned that the shuttle would only be able to pick us up at 1030. That was not acceptable. Why would we have to give the tour company our flight information but not accommodate our needs? Finally after asking again whether we could catch an earlier ride, someone ran up to us, a Chinese lady whom barely spoke any English. She yelled at us stating she was looking for us. AGAIN, I mentioned how we booked a tour with tours4Fun, well the sign this lady was holding said SUPER-VACATIONS! This Chinese lady finally gave us an itinerary and told us to wait. The bus driver, Bing, finally went through the itinerary with us in broken English. As he went through the itinerary he mentioned the “service fees” for which on the itinerary mentioned suggested tip! He stated that we NEEDED to pay the “suggested tip/service fees” everyday to our tour guides! we go through our tours for the day... HORRIBLE! These two tour guides were horrible!! They barely spoke English!they showed us the sign for Vancouver, mentioned the river have salmon, took us to this clock with steam coming out, and to this building that looked like a space ship and some to take pictures!! What a waste of time! We could’ve booked a real tour! And the whole ride, the drivers singled us out because we were the only non Chinese people on the bus!! I had no clue this was a Chinese tour!! At the end of day 1, the driver harassed us for the money, pretty much demanded it!! Wtf, I didn’t even learn anything from that “tour”. I would not recommend this tour to anyone!!! In fact, I would recommend no one to take this tour!!! Not unless you have to be harassed for more money and be stuck on a tour bus with Chinese people! This tour company *****!!Read full review
That will be nice if the hotels serves breakfast as we are on the run always early morning. We had some issues with the transportation. We have to replace the bus .
The 5-day Rockies itinerary was hectic & tiring but was expected in order to cover all the beautiful sceneries. Tour guide was bilingual but most of the time speaking Chinese. He was always on time. I suggest you include Lake Morraine on th..e itinerary. Over all the tour was a great !Read full review

The tour was carried out by the Chinese company SuperVacations. The staff is exclusively chinese. We booked the “bilingual” tour and ended up with in a bus with almost only chinese people who didn’t speak english.
The bus AC was ext..remely cold - even after we complained it didn’t change.
The “Meal Plan” consisted only of Chinese food – except the lunch in the Fairmount Lake Louise.
At the last day the tour guide collected a mandatory! tip of 8,- Cad per person/day for himself and 5,- CAD for per person/day for the driver. This makes 84, - CAD and was not mentioned in the booking.
The same applied for the night and the day tour in Vancouver wit each 5, - CAD per person.
The conveyor from Seattle to Vancouver took more than 6 hours instead of the usual 3 hours. Also here the driver (who hardly didn’t say one English word) asked for a tip of 8, - CAD per person!
Tours4fun sells this tour as a “6-Day Canadian Rocky Mountain Summer Tour Package”. The SuperVacation offer, truthfully only speaks of a “4-day Rockies tour”. The rest is the transfer from Seattle and a day in a hotel.Read full review
We were picked up from the airport at 3:30 but were not given a tour of Vancouver.
Accommodation for three people was not adequate in all hotels except one. We got two beds only!
Tour guide had a very heavy accent in English and was hard to.. understand.Read full review

Well organized tour. Hotels were comfortable. The tour guide was very helpful and tried his best to satisfy the group which was multi cultural. It would have been great if at least one or two meals of Indian food when their are lot of parti..cipants from Indian subcontinentRead full review
Very well organized, honestly pleasantly surprised given the price. Actually 4 day trip on the road, first day is an optional tour of Vancouver, self checked into the hotel that night. We have family in Vancouver so spent day with them, ele..cted not to do this part of the tour.
We paid extra for front seats, definitely worth it (first off the bus at pit stops, best views on the very scenic 4-day drive). We covered a lot of ground so lots of time on the bus between destinations, pit stops always roughly every 2/2.5 hours. Tour guide (Marco) was funny and knowledgeable, a real treat on the trip. Well managed.
We are english speaking Canadians so paid extra for english bus as well. Worth it for those who do not understand Mandarin or Cantonese.
Opted out of meal plan, which seemed to be mostly chinese buffets. Can't comment on quality of the meal plan due to that. Got a little more variety (in our opinion) with various fast food/restaurants/bars along the way.
Tour guide will ask for tips $ at the end for both the driver (same driver is with your group the full 4 days) and themselves. $10 per passenger per day (so $80 for a group of 2). Supposedly helps with behind the scenes upkeep, re-fuelling, etc. Given the price we paid initially, I'm surprised they were able to fit as much as they did in the tour to begin with (i.e. admission fees/hotels each night), so we were cool with this, though a little frustrating when any cost like this isn't clear from the beginning.
All in all would definitely recommend this tour to friends. The landscape of the Rockies, and the full route driven is gorgeous, photos do not do it justice, you have to see it in person. It was a bonus that the tour was so good, which let us focus on fully experiencing the wilderness without distraction.Read full review
