Also called Amazonia, this ecological wonder is the world's largest and most biodiverse rainforest covering 3.2 million square miles in the South American countries of Brazil, Peru, Columbia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana.
