This epic Transylvania castle near Brasov, Romania is often called Dracula's Castle as it was the legendary character's supposed home in "Bram Stoker's Dracula" and associated with Dracula's alleged real life inspiration of Vlad III, or Vlad the Impaler. Bran Castle was completed in 1388 after Hungarian King Louis the Great encouraged the people of then-Kronstadt to build a castle. Visitors can tour the castle that also features a museum of furniture and other belongings of Queen Mary of Romania.
