The Boulevard Haussmann location serves as the flagship store of the Galeries Lafayette enterprise, which now operates retail venues in Berlin, Casablanca, Jakarta, Dubai, Beijing and Milan. The department store's weekly fashion show always draws a large crowd, but it's the the Art Nouveau building with its intricate ironwork, stained-glass windows and 141-foot high dome that steals the show.
