This heavenly desert oasis city in California features year-round sunshine, gorgeous mountains, endless palm trees, world-class resorts, vast golf courses and fabulous architecture. Palm Springs was home to the Cahuilla Tribe for hundreds of years and many of the Native Americans still live within the city that was granted to the United States from Mexico in 1848.
