The town of Salmon Arm in the British Columbia, Canada, is located on the shores of Shuswap Lake. The city is considered a popular vacationing destination because of its many beaches and campgrounds. Summer is the busiest time of year for the city of Salmon Arm also because of its festivals and annual event. Salmon Arm became a city in 1905 and the city's 100th anniversary in 2005, was commemorated into a minted coin.
