Best Schonbrunn Palace Tours from Madrid

This summer palace has its own park and Children’s Museum. Commissioned by Emperor Leopold I in the late 1600s, the palace was built 50 years later under Maria Theresa. It was originally a place of court, then the park opened to the public in 1779. Today, visitors can tour the White and Gold Rooms along with the Palace Chapel and may see the Imperial Family’s ornamental private quarters by appointment.
