Discover Ponce de Leon's famed Fountain of Youth in Florida at this 15-acre St. Augustine park located where the Spaniard first explored the land in 1513 and the freshwater spring that he referenced in Antonio de Herrera y Tordesillas' "Historia General." Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park contains reproductions of First Mission of Nombre de Dios, a Timucuan Village and the Spanish Watchtower. It also has the Navigators Planetarium, a 30-foot lighted Discovery Globe, First Encounters Exhibit, 1565 Pedro Menendez de Aviles Settlement and the Timucuan Indian Burial Grounds.
