Best Kapaa Town Day Trips & Things to Do

This Kauai town west of the famed NouNou Mountain, or Sleeping Giant is known for its shopping centers, unique stores and variety of restaurants. Kinipopo Shopping Village, Wailua Shopping Plaza and Coconut Market Place have a variety of retail and dining options. Kapaa Town, which used to be filled with pineapple and sugarcane fields, has the Hoopi Falls on its north residential side. Forbes Magazine named it one of "America's Prettiest Towns" in 2013.
