This Czech Republic spa town in the Karlovy Vary Region has attracted royalty, presidents, artists and celebrities throughout the years. Marianske Lazne's lands have been inhabited since the 12th century and the first mineral springs were documented in the 14th century. However, the town's first spa wasn't established until 1808 by Josef Jan Nehr. Today, Marianske Lazne has 100 mineral springs and more than 50 hotels.
