Best Tortilla Flat Day Trips & Things to Do

This Arizona "Old West" unincorporated community with a population of six people is the last remaining stage coach stop along the Apache Trail. Tortilla Flat was established in 1904 due to the construction of the Roosevelt Dam and was utilized by tourists as a rest area before reaching the dam. Previous to that, it was a camp for many prospectors looking for gold in the Superstition Mountains. The ghost town has a restaurant and store as well as some trails leading to the Superstition Mountains. Show All
