Why are the waters outside Newport Bay so incredible for whale watching? The waters along the Newport Beach and Laguna Beach coastlines drop off quickly into a deep underwater canyon. Upwelling provides nutrient rich waters which supports life throughout the food chain. This unique ecosystem draws in all types of marine life including whales and dolphin. A giant State Marine Protected Park was created to protect this amazing habitat and ensure that the many mammals it supports will continue to thrive for generations to come.
Luckily for our whale watching cruises as the Marine Protected Park and sightings can begin almost immediately upon leaving Newport Bay. Due to the abundant number of whales and dolphin, 2 to 2.5 hour whale watching cruises are all that needed to get great viewings.

Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a status update email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation are confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
