Head off the beaten path on a Polaris Ranger and travel along a 4×4 trail through Whitmore Canyon and Lake Mead Recreation Area to the canyon rim.
At 3,000 feet (880 m) above the Colorado River, the sheer drop from the rim at this part of the canyon offers rare and spectacular views. You'll also have time to explore the unusual collection of desert vegetation and animal life. Return to Bar 10 Ranch and enjoy the staff’s hospitality as well as a home-cooked Dutch oven barbecue lunch.
You'll fly to and from Bar 10 Ranch aboard one of our aircraft specifically designed for “flightseeing.” All airplanes are equipped with high wings and large windows to provide optimal viewing, along with a climate-controlled cabin for your comfort. Bring your I.D. - All passengers booked on a tour must have government issued forms of identification.
Be sure to book your tour as early in your trip as possible.
You may bring a bottle of water, however the bottle is not allowed to be opened in the aircraft.
Don’t forget your camera! Cameras and phones are allowed and encouraged, but please be aware that the use of "Selfie Sticks" and extending camera poles are strictly prohibited in and around the aircraft.
Not sure what to wear? Layered clothing is recommended through the months of March to September, and winter clothing should be worn from October to mid-March.
Wear sensible shoes. The ground at the Grand Canyon is rough, rocky and uneven. It is important to wear sturdy, toe-covering shoes that can handle rough terrain. Sneakers or hiking boots are highly recommended.
Boots or sturdy shoes are required (no open-toed shoes, sandals, high heels or flip-flops are permitted).
ATV riders must be a minimum of 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
One person is permitted per ATV.
This tour/activity is overseen by a select local operator in the region. Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a Receipt of Reservation via email.
Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a status update email from us. If you need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation from us.
An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email as soon as details of your reservation are confirmed or your supporting information is received by us. We will provide you with all detailed information about your tour on the E-Ticket. Contact information for local tour provider will be included on E-Ticket for your convenience or re-confirmation purpose if re-confirmation is required.
Simply print your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID on the day of your activity to your tour guide. Please remember E-Ticket is your proof of purchase.
