Your Yosemite Giant Sequoia Tour begins with a pickup in San Francisco, then heads east crossing through California’s fertile San Joaquin Valley and into the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. Pass through 150-year-old mining towns and learn the extensive history of the region.
After entering Yosemite, you can have the chance to experience the solitude of the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias. These giant trees are the largest living creatures on the planet and no picture can really do them justice - but that should not stop you from trying!
In winter, when conditions on the Tuolumne Grove trail are snow covered or unsafe, we substitute this experience with other attractions.
You’ll want to savor the moment as you enter Yosemite Valley and enjoy a stop at Inspiration Point (also known as Tunnel View). Don’t forget stunning photographs with El Capitan, Half Dome and Bridalveil Falls as your backdrop.
With this one-way tour you can take advantage of unlimited free time in the park to climb a boulder, bike with abandon, or commit to the many wilderness trails. Please note that there is no return reservation with this tour, and you will need to make separate arrangements for your next tour segment.
