Visit Eagle Point as life like as its name that has been shaped over thousands of years as though an eagle was been embedded into the Grand Canyon walls. Dine at the newly opened Skywalk Cafe overlooking the Grand Canyon for a truly unique lunch experience. Upgrade Options Skywalk Tickets Upgrade The spectacular u-shaped glass walkway jutting out 70 feet from a canyon wall located a dramatic 4,000-feet above the Colorado River in Grand Canyon West is one of the most popular tourist attractions at the stunning Grand Canyon. Skywalk was opened in 2007 by the Hualapai Nation Native American tribe that owns and runs the western portion of the Grand Canyon. Skywalk is visited by approximately 300,000 people per year and its construction was the subject of a National Geographic documentary. Helicopter and Pontoon Ride Upgrade You can also enjoy an exhilarating Helicopter and Pontoon attraction which will take you on a breathtaking descent into the Grand Canyon landing about 100 feet away from the Colorado river. From there you will be taken by a native guide down the Colorado river on a relaxing 20 minute cruise as you witness towering cliffs of the Grand Canyon from the calm water. Helicopter, Pontoon, and Skywalk Upgrade Your first stop will be the Helicopter terminal at the Grand Canyon West Rim where you will experience a descent down into the Grand Canyon 4,000 feet below the rim of the Grand Canyon touching down near the banks of the Colorado River. From there you will be cruising down the Colorado River as you are experience the Grand Canyon and all of the ancient geological rock formations of the Canyon as you float down the Colorado River. As you experience the Grand Canyon at river level your friendly boat guide will provide expert information about the surroundings. Next, you will be whisked back up to the rim where you can experience the Skywalk.
