Itinerary

On this tour, you'll have the fantastic opportunity to see Prague's main historic places and monuments in only three hours, including the popular castle guards ceremony at Prague Castle. Allow us to invite you to a sightseeing tour of the city Bernard Bolzano called “a city of a hundred towers” in the 19th century. Let us begin in the vicinity of the Estates Theatre, in the Old Town, which hosted the premiere of W.A. Mozart’s "Don Giovanni" opera. First we will pass by the National Theatre, you will see a marvellous view of the panorama of Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Rudolfinum, which is the home stage of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra; the Powder Gate, the Wenceslas Square, the center of the New Town, where the Czech history was written, the Charles Square, and the renowned Dancing House (Fred and Ginger). Then we will cross the Jirásek Bridge for you to be enchanted by the Lesser Quarter, dominated by Saint Nicholas Church. The first part of the tour is provided by minibus. We will go across the Jewish Town, along the oldest synagogue in Europe, to the Old Town Square, one of the oldest marketplaces in Prague with its historic Town Hall and world-famous Astronomical Clock, dating back to 1410, with its 12 apostles. Then we will start our walk along the Prague Castle, where Czech kings had their offices. Soldiers of elite Prague Castle Guard welcome you at the gates. The ceremonial Changing of the Guard including a fanfare and the flag ceremony. We will see Saint Vitus Cathedral, where the Czech Crown Jewels are kept and King Charles IV, father of the country, is buried. (Only available for the 10:00am tour). The tour ends at the Prague Castle.
