This medieval town was built on a rocky cliff above Neretva River, and offers great insight into the Ottoman Empire and the influence of Eastern cultures. We'll then make the short trip to Mostar – the nexus of the West and the exotic East. Explore the city with a local guide and listen to hypnotizing historical anecdotes. You will be amazed by the sight of the famous Stari Most (Old Bridge), a majestic stone arch above the Neretva River connecting two medieval towers. Cross over the bridge to check out the Ottoman quarter: the old Bazaar and the Mosque. Then, after the walking tour, explore the city on your own. Mostar will inspire you with its oriental streets and buildings, friendly people, tasty food and distinctive coffee culture redolent of Turkey. So make the most of your free time here in Mostar. The ride back to Split leads us through the rocky landscapes of Herzegovina all the way to the amazing natural wonder known as Kravica Waterfall, where you photograph the amazing landscapes, and perhaps even jump into the refreshing waters of the river to cool down. After arriving in Split or Trogir, you will be dropped off at the same place where you were picked up in the morning.
