First day city tour used separate company and bus, which caused hassle with luggage. The tour's Chinese/English guiding leaned Chinese, and the pushy guide seemed to have a financial interest in the optional meal plan, which was rather Chin.. Read full review

Tour guide and driver were knowledgeable and friendly. Driver drove cautiously. Nice places to visit. What I disliked was the hotel included in the package. Hotel was old, and untidy.

First of all, I thought I booked a tour with Tours4fun. Instead, supervacations greeted me at the airport. When I started emailing the company months before the tour, they were unorganized and did not communicate well with the “local offi..ce,” whatever that meant. For the life of me, they could not get my flight information correct! After several emails, I called the company to straighten out my flight information 2 times. I called and emailed several times to get an updated itinerary time of events and locations of hotel rooms. When My friend and I got to Vancouver, We looked for a sign saying “Tours4fun” to catch the shuttle to our hotel (for which I had to straighten out our flight information 2 times before and for which I had no clue of which hotel we would be staying at). We waited 15 minutes before calling the supposed tour guide, whom did not answer, we left a voicemail. We called 2 more numbers before actually getting to speak with someone. That someone had no clue what was going on, and she barely spoke English. We arrived at 8 in the morning and the company mentioned that the shuttle would only be able to pick us up at 1030. That was not acceptable. Why would we have to give the tour company our flight information but not accommodate our needs? Finally after asking again whether we could catch an earlier ride, someone ran up to us, a Chinese lady whom barely spoke any English. She yelled at us stating she was looking for us. AGAIN, I mentioned how we booked a tour with tours4Fun, well the sign this lady was holding said SUPER-VACATIONS! This Chinese lady finally gave us an itinerary and told us to wait. The bus driver, Bing, finally went through the itinerary with us in broken English. As he went through the itinerary he mentioned the “service fees” for which on the itinerary mentioned suggested tip! He stated that we NEEDED to pay the “suggested tip/service fees” everyday to our tour guides! we go through our tours for the day... HORRIBLE! These two tour guides were horrible!! They barely spoke English!they showed us the sign for Vancouver, mentioned the river have salmon, took us to this clock with steam coming out, and to this building that looked like a space ship and some to take pictures!! What a waste of time! We could’ve booked a real tour! And the whole ride, the drivers singled us out because we were the only non Chinese people on the bus!! I had no clue this was a Chinese tour!! At the end of day 1, the driver harassed us for the money, pretty much demanded it!! Wtf, I didn’t even learn anything from that “tour”. I would not recommend this tour to anyone!!! In fact, I would recommend no one to take this tour!!! Not unless you have to be harassed for more money and be stuck on a tour bus with Chinese people! This tour company *****!! Read full review

The tour guide, bus driver were personable and courteous. The tour guide did an outstanding job providing information on the way to Banff, and while in the park. We were provided time lines for visiting various sites. All was excellent.

That will be nice if the hotels serves breakfast as we are on the run always early morning. We had some issues with the transportation. We have to replace the bus .

We have mixed experiences about this tour. First of all I'm mentioning bad onces & then I will cover good parts. Bad Experiences: 1. 1st Day Hotel experience is really very bad. The Clarion Hotel in Calgary City having lot of problems lik..e - water logging in bathrooms, mal-functionl AC, very rude behaviour from font desk staff, making delay in alotting rooms though there wre plenty of vacant rooms are there and we already booked rooms in that hotel a month ago. 2. Transportation from Calgary Airport to Clarion Hotel was very problematic as the authorized Cab driver as well as Hotel Front Desk staff were not co-operating for re-imbursing the money initially. We got the money after we had round of escalations with Hotel Management & Tours4Fun. 3. We have prior experiences in travelling with a tour group where personally we didn't checkedin the hotel. But, in this scenario, first 2 days, we have seen this issue where we need to show all details and enquire about our hotel resevations. There was no Tours4Fun or Wester representative to handle that. 4. 4th day's lunch was just a disaster. There are lot of resturants in Jasper town with ecomonical options for meal/foods. But, not sure why they had booked for a Korean Resturant(Kimichi House) with extremely bad-tasted-soup-only-meal. We were not able to eat this. And they were not providing altenate meal option also though it was already paid by us. They should understand that the meal option should be acceptable to generic people and not for a specific region. Even most of our chinese travel-mates also could not manage to eat that bogus meal. Wester/Tours4Fun also not refunding that meal money for both of us. Good Experiences: 1. Bus coach driver Paul & Tour Guide Lisa were really good & friendly. They were showing and explaining the places very descriptive ways. 2. Lunch at Fairmont Spring Banff Hotel was just awesome. 3. Hotel Voyeger Inn at Banff & Athabasca Hote at Jasper town are good hotels and nice arrangements in rooms. Though both of them are lacking elevator as they are very old & refurbishes recently. The sceni views from them just breathtaking. 4. Breakfast bouffets are good in all 3 hotels - Clarion at Calgary, Hotel Voyeger Inn at Banff & Athabasca Hote at Jasper town. 5. The places where we went for visting all are superb and gorgous. I can't explain their beauties in words. Read full review
