"Hello Erin, We really enjoyed our Yosemite Winter Tour on December 26, 2017. We saw all the main sites, especially Half Dome! Our only concern was that when we departed the park, our driver (Constantine) was perhaps ""chasing the daylight.."" and drove far too fast and also passed other drivers on that very steep, windy road. We were terrified. We have been on many tours all over the world and this was our 1st tour where the guide was BOTH guide and driver.... might you consider having the tour with 2 employees? As well, we were ready at 5:50am for a 6:10am pick-up - we were waiting in the lobby. Constantine did not come in to get us, instead he was waiting on the street across from our hotel... finally at 6:20am we went looking for him and then saw him across the street. When we tried to explain that we were actually early and waiting for him in the lobby, he snapped back at us that he doesn't chase down guests in their hotels. Having 2 employees would alleviate this problem. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our tour - many thanks!!! Chris Castellarin Elissa Kinar"Read full review
I expected the tour guide to actually talk about the places we were going to, and the sceneries we were passing to get there, but he never gave us any substantial information. We didn't learn much from this tour. Also, most of the places we.. went to were obviously just establishments that the tour company was making commission off of--such as the Chinese buffet place and the Ethel Chocolate factory. On top of this, it seemed as if the tour company was making profit off of us through the entrance fees to our destinations. A good example of this would be the Grand Canyon South Rim, where they charged a much higher price than the standard rate. Overall, very very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.Read full review

It was really bad for the tour guy not to check me into hotel until I made payment for extra attraction fee. He kept me waiting for 2hrs and even wanted to go out while my boyfriend was still trying to sort out the additional charges. I had.. to give him 100usd, the only cash i had at that time before he checked me in.
I felt the value of the extra attraction fee was not worth it. Buffet was bad with stale food.
Asides that, hotel was great.Read full review

We took the tour from East Brunswick, NJ. We loved the Amish Village tour but we were not able to interact with the Amish people (not sure if this is possible). The stay in DC is really fast. The DC cruise is relaxing but can be dropped fr..om itinerary. Maybe visiting some other sights will be better. We chose to be self dismissed in DC, and we stayed another 2 days. But overall it was fun. However, the only downside was it was too fast, that there was no time to buy souvenirs. The tour guide is okay, she is polite and approachable.Read full review
