The tour guide Judy was a nice, friendly and talkative tour guide, she brought us to Hoover's Dam and Scenic Route 66 town besides South Rim Grand Canyon. She is humorous. The trip definitely worthed it. I paid an extra $20 for joining her ..walking tour and took a lot of great photos during the tour, but it was too fast. One thing is that the bus failed to pick us on time, it was delayed till 6:25 am, an hour after the designated time.Read full review
Time was change to later, fine but waited and no one picked us up, called they didn't know why, set for the next day same time still no one came. Called said would send a van in 7 min. 10 min. noone showed. They called said he would not be.. coming so they sent a giant bus to pick us up. Fine...took us to the office put us on another bus that had such little leg room our knees were right up against the seats in front of us. We specifically picked the early trip because it showed 3 hours at the grand canyoun and NO stop at the dam. Well we had a 45 min. detour to the dam that we had visited the prior week. So waited for folks and started again, 1/2 took a bathroom break at a gas station when there was one on the bus. Made another stop at Rt. 66 was good to stretch legs with such little room to move them. Got close to the Grand Canyon where a stop was made to drop off 2 people to ride the helicopter. Another stop at an imax location where people were dropped to ride a hummer, then the people got off to watch the imax, and to our surprise this was where we were eating NO WHERE IN SITE OF THE GRAND CANYON! we were to sit around and wait for these other people for 1and a half hours!!! Started out again and were dropped off to see our first view WONERFUL! 45 min. then taken to another stop for 1 hour and 15 min.....well short of the 3 hours we signed up for. but a wonderful view. trip back, stopped where one lady left her hat, stopped at a mcdonals, a gas station for people to get stuff 20 min and switch drivers. we had planned on booking one or 2 more trips this week but due to not being picked up and the little time at the canyon and especially such little leg room...did not...Very disappointed.Read full review
The Canyon was well worth the drive; however, we could have gotten there quicker with less stops. One bathroom/snack break halfway through would have been plenty!
Dwayne was a great tour bus driver. He gave us a lot of history along the drive but also made it fun and gave us plenty of laughs. He made the experience.
Perfect amount of time at the grand canyon and the stops we did. We unfortunately missed the hoover dam and they didn’t mention why we didn’t stop (think we were running late) and as it was our last day in Vegas we couldn’t plan to go.. again.Read full review
Magnificent views from both Eagle point and Guano point, the lunch included was very good! Our driver was professional, funny, and dedicated to his work!
If you don't want to drive 6+ hours, Gray Line is the way to go! They were organized with pick up and the tour overall. Plenty of time to explore parts of the canyon (there are a lot of trails!). This tour is a self guided tour - you do you..r own exploration just within a time limit. Drop off could've been more organized - for example, we did a drop off at Treasure Island AND Mirage (which were basically right beside each other)... I feel like we could've saved some time by having a designated drop off spot that reaches all the hotels in reasonable walking distance.Read full review
