We are a retired New Zealand couple who joined 51 mandarin speaking fellow travellers plus a few other "pakeha" people like us on the 4 September 2009 tour. We found them very friendly and great travelling companions and our competent tour
..guide, Harry, gave us an excellent commentary in mandarin and english. I nice modern bus also. We enjoyed everything and the tour was very comprehensive...Crazy horse and Mt Rushmore and the Montana museum were most interesting. Yellowstone is one of the greatest places we have ever visited with diverse, beautiful and awesome scenery. Even though NZ has outstanding scenery and similar thermal areas, Yellowstone was as good. Arches national park was wonderful and a highlight and very different to NZ. The accommodaiton was surprisingly good, except in Deadwood, which was about 1 star I reckon...but an interesting old casino nevertheless. This tour is incredibly good value, and Harry, our guide keeps the costs low by stopping for dinner at a choice of cheap retaurants. We thoroughly recommend this tour even if you are Caucasian English speaking wrinklies like us! Read full review
