The Fashion Capital of Italy is home to many of the country's famous designers such as Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Prada, Valentino and Versace. Milan also is Italy's second most populated city and economic center containing the country's stock exchange, major banks and important corporations. The city was founded by the Insubre Celts between 600-590 B.C. and then taken over the by Romans in 222 B.C.
