Warsaw dates back to 1300, however, settlements can be traced back to the 9th century. It became Poland's capital in 1596. The city was miraculously rebuilt after major devastation from bombing and raids during World War II. Popular Warsaw attractions include the Royal Castle, Wilanow Palace, St. Mary's Church, Old Town Warsaw, Krasiński Palace, Market Square, Sigismund's Column and the Warsaw Barbican. It is also home to the tallest four-faced clock in the world. Show All
