The beautiful Corinthian structure located in Salt Lake City underwent a major restoration project from 2004-08 and contains Utah state government offices. The Utah State Capitol that opened in 1916 was designed by architect Richard Kletting is filled with important art, historic relics and many sculptures. Notable attractions are the state House and Senate chambers, Supreme Court chambers, visitor center and the interior of the rotunda.
