This 4,865-foot tall mountain within the Adirondack Range in Upstate New York provides stunning views of the surrounding peaks as well a Vermont and Canada if the sky is clear. Whiteface Mountain is a popular skiing destination and is the site of the Whiteface Ski Resort. It also was the location of the alpine skiing event during the 1980 Lake Placid, New York Olympics.
