This amazing fall tour was created to showcase the beauty of The Great Smoky Mountains and see the fall color change. The location we will visit is unknown to most tourists and even many locals so we cannot disclose it on this site. We do this because we want to give our customers a raw view of the wilderness without having to wade through large groups of onlookers. We enjoy having visitors to our area and sometimes folks just want to enjoy the sights of nature in peace and quiet away from the high traffic areas. This tour will highlight the trees and wildlife of the area. We will discuss the different tree types, the hibernation patterns of the animals, the history of the land, and so much more. All of our tours teach you about our history and heritage but in a very fun and interesting way. The tour is designed for guests of all ages but very small children may need assistance from their parents in some areas. Along the way, we may show DVDs about the Smoky Mountains and about the fall color change. NOTICE: There is an optional small hike that lasts about 45 minutes and includes a slight 1/4 mile section that is a gradual incline. Anyone with walking or breathing disabilities should be aware. We advise guests to walk at a slow pace with several breaks to enjoy the sights and sounds. However, participants who are not physically able to endure the small hike are welcome to wait in the picnic area if they wish. Comfortable walking shoes are highly suggested as well as insect repellent. This tour is all about the trees but we will have many other amazing views along the way and on the trip back to our starting area.
