Itinerario

Your guide will meet you in Lisbon's Rossio train station, where you will begin your journey to one of Portugal's greatest cultural treasures: Sintra, declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1995. Upon our arrival in Sintra - about an hour train ride from Lisbon - your guide will give you a complete tour of the two main attractions: the fairytale Pena Palace, and the mystical estate Quinta da Regaleira. From there you will be taken on a guided walking tour of the town itself, with a chance to taste Sintra's famous local pastries. This tour is conducted by a licensed local guide whose mission is to impart to travelers what they need to know to enhance their stay in Lisbon, and to promote Portugal's culture and heritage. From recommendations of things to do in the city, to insider advice on how to get around, to other areas you might like to visit during your stay, feel free to ask your guide anything.
